@tuffymon assume 1nar = 1 yen as a minimum though quite often in isekais it can be higher so the 1 million that got the girls enslaved is at least $10, 000 though a lot of iskeais are 1 : 10 or 1 :100
The real question is how do these nobles keep on getting honey potted, like if your dad has a important person in the area you would like he would explain to you that the amount of money is fake and they don’t like you.
If this wasn't a manga (and following manga tropes) I'd be quick to think the Wendy, the slavehouse owner, and the noble (possibly fake) are all working together to push her sale.
Time for another installment of...needless art nitpicking!
On the page where our MC is eating a taco (gyro?), the entire arm and hand holding the food look like it was drawn first, then the body drawn in like a few hours later after the artist had a nice long nap.
Edit: figured out what was really bothering me about it. The arm is attached incorrectly to the body.
@RubyBoule I was thinking the exact same thing. It isn't uncommon to trap people like that, especially if they're not hiding their interest and need that extra push. A good way to jack price up by creating artificial demand for your product too.
