@Joonhas In this story those magic screens are floating in the real world. In the first chapter he made a point of switching to thought mode instead of touch screen. The other stories, they're all in your head so the screens are not actually their and you look like a fool for using your hands with others watching. Just taking a guess here but granting people permission in those stories is like sending someone contacts info from your phone using NFC.

Hope those two can keep having the city and location a secret.
