While I also agree that this was a dumb move on the lizards part (the love was mutual after all). I have tons of respect of how they handle it. Suspension Bridge affects a lot of these fantasy manga, and not one of them has ever taken them to account

I mean , at least show the love blossoming over time, rather than "Oh you saved me, now I am head over heels for you",

but hey , this is an opinion of a person who likes mutually evolving romance

Yeah, I agree with the Lizardman. It’s nice you like each other, but it’s better imo they work stuff out one step at a time and get to really know each other before jumping into some crazy impossible relationship. But I say that knowing that DND lizards and elves can’t mate, and based on the setting, society might not be too accepting. We’ve got a whole manga ahead of us to work this out.
