Isekai Izakaya "Nobu"

So glad it's not just a funny cooking comedy but a nice little slice of life too. All of the characters are so nice.

I do want something interesting to happen, like the war and see how it will show on Nobu.

I just found this as anime at Crunchyroll!
I'll have to spend some time to watch it!

As much as I love this manga, it bothers me that creators have little knowledge of medieval europe, and most of it looks more like knowledge inspired by japanese games about medieval europe. Even most of the characters act more like japanese people with their overwhelming politeness.
It's super comfy and lack of definite threat doesn't make it any less pleasing. And the art style is superb - artist knows how to draw man which isn't common thing in manga
Edit. Okay nevermind, it's not historical, nor in medieval europe, it's isekai but made very well

This would be better if the locals didn't spend half of each chapter ravenously sucking the dick of SUPERIOR JAPANESE CUISINE. It just reads like a 12 year old's masturbation fantasy.

Absolutely amazing piece of work. Complex and in-depth characters that you fall in love with and a great storyline. A perfect way to mix the theme of past and present. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter.

well, not everyday izakaya nobu got a customer from real world. nice character development.

I dropped the manga a year or two ago because I caught up to the current translations at the time. I'm glad I managed to read it again. It is simply one of the best lighthearted manga out there. I am looking forward to read the light novel and the future anime adaptation!

P.S. Shinobu is love, Shinobu is life.

Edit: Wait I'm trolling, the anime was released already lmao

Wait, is that it? last chapter felt like the final one with the way the dialogue is in the final pages.

My only regret in this manga is they don't provide recipes to all the yummy foods they make.

I love this manga's pace and how they don't focus on useless stuff like the materials used in the shop (serving the food in plastic containers ? And nobody ticks ? :D )
But everytime they talk about western food, it triggers me so much how obvious it is that the author and artist have never seen them. Their ingredients are so wrong... But well aside from that, it's pretty good.

is that Hans on the cover? Did he finally decided to resign from guard duty and follow the way of Nobu? good good.

I see he that he quit the military, but where is the chapter?😋we have a hot addition to the pub XD
