Annulling an engagement is harder than murdering another country's princess? No matter how much of a bully she is, it sounds like she gets outright murdered no matter what happens. Even if the country she came from hates her, they could still have an issue. I guess the distance makes it easier since it's not like they could easily discover she was murdered.
