@Chocolat If I remember correctly, I think that's basically the Duke's plan: adopt Almus, granting him royal status, have him marry Tetra (which was already going to happen anyway) to more firmly bring the resurrected Ash family to their side, and then have him marry Yuria to become king so that the douchebag doesn't get anywhere near Yuria or the throne.
