the magic work different there, so it's hard for those people realize how strong Suimei really is, if not seeing it up close.. still the guy tried to force the girls so he's gonna get what's coming (although didn't Suimei was trying to not get acknowledged as a strong person yet??)

@czarisyn It's just a problem with this series. The author can't carry on meaningul discussions and arguments. Trust me, this manga still manages to be better than this scene was in the original novel. All in all, there might not even be anything wrong about the characters, including that wannabe hero, but they are all suffering from a communication disorder because of the author's lack of skill in that specific area. Maybe the author is a loner with little experience of conversations and dialogue? Who can say.

so yeah, you're probably right about the author. (still series isn't garbage like other isekais, it isn't great tho)
