I kind of wish that bridge scene was included in the anime.

I recall noting back when reading the excellent Whitepod version, somewhere out there, that it's very peculiar Diablo has no money. He's a max level character (in the game), so he ought to be swimming in gold. Even if the game was such that it required most of it to be kept somewhere else, surely he would keep a good amount with him, just in case.
