Baduta: someone that only relies on items cannot win against me.
Diablo: true, if you do not thave cheater items like mine.
It was a bit ridiculous beginning with some truths to make the story beliable to demolish them with isekai logic just after that.

I mean it's not really a cheater item. In a TON of rpg's there are items that grant "Survive one attack that would kill you but instead reduce you to 1 hp" and a lot of the items shown in this series are based on RPG gear so it's not that much of a stretch.
Now the magic reflection ring is absolute BS however.

@ExLegendary I know that, but it is cheater when you mix a world with real elements like someone can de if stabbed or bleed out with an item that treats things like a game. Apart that is making him invulnerable, as even if he survives the hit, he should be dead after half a minute out of blood loss after the hit.
That and what i said before about credibility an crushing it just after.
An lastly, so far he has been the only one shown to have items aside from weapons .... a lot less videogame like items, or equipment

I mean...yeah. A "survive with 1 HP" item is pretty standard in RPGs, but doesn't make it any less horrifying in reality when you stab someone in the heart and they still don't die.

Not necessarily, had friends and family who have severed parts of their body, one crushed, one clean cut.
clean cuts don't hurt, crushed hurts like hell.
But also having been in a situation where shit was bad and I needed to move but was hurt, you do what you have to, you dont got time to scream and no ones helping you but keep in mind the kind of world this is, as long as you are alive you can be healed and pain is largely a 'stop doing this its hurt and it will get worse' response.
as long as you aren't in shock and your parts aren't completely effed you should be able to move, not to mention the consequences for not moving
you also have to keep in mind the kind of person diablo is/was, he knew the value of sticking to the script and not reacting.

@ExLegendary It was a game that basically allowed him to play as a dungeon boss, or something along those lines. He doesn't seem strong enough to look like a real raid boss requiring a party of players to defeat, but that could be the game vs reality difference. In any case, without such a ring, his character would have been nothing special in the original game.

Man... these plot devices... these literal plot armors... there's just too much lazy writing, I would just much prefer having the camera pan over to Lumachina and Rem with whatever they are doing... and by that I don't mean the sexual stuff or fan service, from what I get so far with the writing they might as well just be t-models standing still while waiting for the cue for the next scene to happen and that would be more entertaining than whatever is happening now... at least it wouldn't be as cringe and infuriating =-=
