Well yeah there are a few, most tend to be the "revenge of the betrayed hero " type of stories tho.
As for if they are any good or not, thats subjective and people don´t have the same taste in manga.

So far in the story he only killed off one of his revenge targets, the only other one he "dealt with" with was

Mind wiped and make into a sex slave who follows him around helping him take revenge, after he used magic to physically alter her appearance into something " more pleasing to look at " so she no longer even looks like herself.

Here the MC is just takeing out his hatred of somebody more "successful" than him, granted they are his enemies so he does have a legitimate excuse to do so.
The main reason people dislike this is because the reason he kills them is not because he needs to, but becouse he hates the enemmy for a super petty reason.

It is not out of character for him to do this by any means, but it's exaggerated by quite alot and people consider it a "change in tone".
Really tho its not that out of the norm if you consider we had a bother who was going to rape and impregnate his sister after hypnotiseing her.....
