This dude is so much less smooth than he (or the Author) thinks he is; it's actually pretty funny.

No idea why he worries about filling the bath so much when he could just make it part of a certain routine. They're going to the labyrinth anyway, right? Just fill it throughout the course of the day you plan on using it, while doing your regular killing shit. Then just heat it up at the end.

Yeah, the novels make a point to point out that he is aware of it, but does it anyway as a show of affection.
As for Roxanne she is pretty happy to not be treated like dirt unlike alot of other slaves so it all works out.
The novel is fully aware that is a wish fulfilling trash novel, but it plays into it pretty well and hopefully the manga is going to as well...
Also about the bath thats pretty much what he ends up doing later on....
It becomes a daily ritual after a while when he gets better at water magic.

Honestly if I remember right the novel later points out that he gives the girls more luxury than Royalty which they are very aware of, that includes stuff like the bath and the food since he enjoys cooking for them. While the Slave thing is obviously ... well a thing they are treated better than pretty much most other woman (Slave or not Slave) out there and they know it.

if I remember well, The words a slave use to address his master and the words a wife use to respectfully address her husband in Japanese in an old way are the same :

I take it like that for Roxanne.
And if I remember If MC die his slaves' status will be
Roxanne : death with him (he propose her freedom, she willingly choose that instead because doesn't to live if he is gone)
dwarf : freedom (he ask what she want, and make it so)

pretty much this, but yeah...... he spoils them alot, i just did not point out just HOW MUCH he spoils them.
Thats not to say they she only likes him because of his the luxury that he offers.
She does fall for him at least at some point as i think i can recall a chapter where she said she did loved him too when talking to the blacksmith girl
( whose name changed halfway through the translation i was reading so im not going to try to name her )
