Isekai Meikyuu de Harem o - Vol. 6 Ch. 34 - Carelessness (1)

@tuatara1 You'd be surprised. When the slaves in the US were freed, many just went back to their old masters, not knowing what else to do and never having known the ability to do as you please. Most slaves were not actually stolen from their homes (especially in America after the Revolution), but instead were born into slavery. Slaves, by and large, were fine with their lot in life. In America, it was the Northern abolitionists who pushed for the slaves to be freed, not the slaves themselves. In fact, most slaves (at least in the American context) were not actually abused in any way (other than, of course, being born into slavery and being kept as a slave), so probably a good chunk of them were actually quite happy with their lives.

That's not to say I agree with the practice, it's just not quite as bad as it is made out to be historically. Now, in the Middle East, they castrated their slave men, and the slaves typically were taken from their homes, so by no means should you take my words to mean that slaves everywhere were fine, they absolutely were not, and the practice of slavery was radically different depending on where in the world you happen to be looking at. It just happened to be the case that slavery in America - while still ethically and morally indefensible, not to mention ideologically opposed to the foundation of the country (which is why most of the Founders who had slaves tried to free them) - was not that bad.

That's a load of shit. Fake revisionist white washing of history. America is notorious the world over for its inhumane treatment of enslaved people.

@tuatara1
Ignore that idiot. He's clearly a troll.

@AnonymousWeeaboo

1: slaves did push for freedom, especially once they were able to escape their masters (obviously they can’t just protest for freedom while on the plantation, they’d get whipped)

2: They didn’t go back to work for the people they used to be slaves of because they liked it or because that’s all they knew. The government issues a decree that slaves are now illegal, your old owner gives you a choice of either leaving or working there again for minimal pay. Leaving means you’d have to walk for miles to the nearest town (which you don’t know the direction of because you can’t read, all you can do is follow the nearest road) without any food of water only to have a small chance at getting a job, so for most people it would mean death.

3: whipping your slaves was legal and common practice, it was only illegal to do it to a life threatening extent, so yes 99% of them were definitely abused

4: comparing the slaves of the US to slaves in the Middle East is the equivalent of comparing getting tortured by being flayed to getting tortured by being beaten the shit out of over and over, they’re both horrible it’s just that one is probably much worse.

So anyways saying that for slaves in the US it “was not that bad” and that they wanted to be slaves is retarded

Hmmm. He gave a bit of an ominous smile before he went in. Perhaps he learned Farom's hidden technique 'Empty Exuvia'.

he was cornered by that rabbit, and with nowhere left to go he died at the floor boss hands but more importantly now we know labyrinth absorbs its victims. maybe they end up becoming monsters themselves for that floor.

Thanks for the chapter.
Rip that Guy.
He just wanted to live the slave harem party dream like MC.

@RUD3DUD3 dungeons are often monsters themselves and they lure food in with treasure and the like while using monsters as their hands and mouth. Don't know if I'd of let him go in alone.

@AnonymousWeeaboo you are pretty stupid aren't you. Slaves were treated often very poorly. Sure, there might have been slave owners who treated their slaves well, but they were still slaves held against their will and not allowed to do as they wish. When slavery ended there were plenty of owners who tried to keep that knowledge unknown. Even if slaves owned by the portugese and muslims were treated by far the worst compared to other groups or nations

@Liquidxlax Is the source your backside? Because that sure smells funny.
Conspiracy theories sure tend to do that

so item box contents are lost forever? lol, what a great way to get rid of nuclear wastes in the future, just give it to some criminals and execute them 🤣

@reu Are you getting worked up, because @Liquidxlax said something against the religion of peace? Muslims were known for buying caucasian women/children as sex slaves. That's a fact not a conspiracy theory.

@AnonymousWeeaboo

Can you guys imagine being as much of a racist as this guy? Being so racist you argue that slavery was alright and the slaves actually preferred it? And even going so far as to say it was all great, except for when the Muslims did it.

Really goes to show you that even today there exist the cartoonishly evil antagonist you usually only see in anime.
