yep, this manga is slow-life , theres no deep story, just leisure life of man and his lovely slaves
 
This is a great read. The plot is good, the art is too and the fan service is plenty. Even though the title is stated harem in it, it still just one girl in it. It's good though rather than blindly accept girl every certain chapters. It means the mc at least not a lucky guy who always get girl for doing nothing.

It's focus more to exploring dungeon and improving everyday's life. It's not deep but still make me want to look forward what mc wants to do in the next day
 
I would guess it is the smallest harem there can be, ie a relationship. Even the Slave-Master intrigation is almost nonexistent 🤣
 
Imagine how much better this manga would be if the author just wrote a harem romance with a Chad MC instead of the slavery crap.
 
Soooooooooo slow... But I love how dumb this is. There is a lot of thought on world building, but the characters are just for wish fulfilling. Definitely not for everyone. But it just happens to be the perfect read for me when I want to turn off my brain and just read something that has a likable setting.
 
The novel is too slow to recommend. Manga is way better because of the art

Also for those who want a Harem
He'll get another slave very soon and a third one not that long afterwards
 
The annoying thing about Roxanne later in the light novel
she is basically a Mary Sue as she has 100% dodge chance of all attacks and can navigate anywhere in the dungeons perfectly by using her sense of smell
 
@Dudeguy1984 I actually forgot about the slave thing until you just brought it up here. Surprised people moan about it so much in mangas as if it shouldn't exist in any work of fiction or in any written fantasy world. You can dislike slavery in the story but it's merit doesn't come from whether or not slavery is there. I hate rape in manga but I won't view a manga as crap that has rape. Depends on how it is used. If it comes out of nowhere in a manga setting that had no reason for it to be there then yeah it is jarring. If it is a dark manga in a dark world then yeah women will be raped and men will be killed. That is the obvious.

Not white knighting to say you're wrong to your opinion/suggestion. I just find your opinion pointless for reasons stated above. Trash me back if you want or ignore. Whatever floats your boat.
 
@mistke I think it was explained in the web novel that Roxxane learned how to dodge when she was a child while playing around with poisonous ants.
 
@BraveHeartedHero the point is that they made her a slave because they were lazy and didn't want to write a legitimate romantic connection, so instead she instantly has to obey him and is totally fine with everything, and later on perfectly willing (and eager) to enforce his will on the other girls. It is so. damn. lazy.

Imagine instead they meet in the dungeon and hit it off, date, grow attached to each other. Later on as she learns more about him and his goals they open it up to meeting more harem members and repeat the process.

Instead, he is going to use cheat powers and grind money to buy more women.

I really like this manga and the WN, but the manga pacing is just too slow and the chapters are getting smaller, it seems the manga is roughly covering 1 LN volume per year.
 
@dudeguy1984 they have a manga/LN like that and it is called "Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon". It's a good read with plenty of side stories.

but only if it isn't forced and it really feels forced. Also why it does feel like it gonna spiral into generic isekai trope hell pretty soon?
 
@lonewolf well it was a harem from the very beginning actually, he even stated early on that he wanted more slaves, just it is very slow paced and the novel is pretty repetitive and too focused on the dungeons, which makes the manga the superior version. It actually
didn't have enough story progress to fall on tropes, after 8 volumes the novel was too focused on the dungeon aspects and him having baths/sex with his three slaves to see drastic changes. It'll continue just like this for a long while with some slow progress here and there and a handful of new characters being introduced
