Yeah its not the best manga and its generic as heck.
But its not THAT bad.

I say its at least low 4 or a high 3 minimum.
1 and 2 should be reserved for the worst of the worst.... and this is far from that in my experience at least.
Got to remember that a average manga is 5 after all :>
But at the end of the day that´s just my opinion so you dont have to take it to heart if you dont want too...
You can always drop it if you feel it's no longer enjoyable to read.
