As for his lack of magic aptitude, that's pretty much his own fault. That god was totally willing to give him this and that, especially when they saw his apparent lack of greed and just kept offering more. I'm sure if he'd asked, he could have had the multi-tool and at least average magic power. But yeah, I have a theory on just how "healthy" the god made him considering how over the top his farming capability became, so between weapon forms for the tool and his "health" I'm not sure anyone's a match or him even without any magic.
