@acolytus, to be fair the writing style seems to only mention things that happen. for a long while now the only thing he could say the baby does is "drank some milk, had a poop" like, him hanging around with the kid every day is a thing that could be happening but not much to say on it.

Its too early to say that. Even the MC doesn't know how long would it take for a vampire to give birth so he was not there when Ru gave birth. And the author have not yet created a chapter for his son. Plus he has responsibility as a "village chief" to know everything regarding the creatures lived in his village.
