Isekai Nonbiri Nouka - Vol. 4 Ch. 68 - Yaa Seduces

That confused me. I thought Yaa was the brunette high elf in 'the betrayal of a mountain elf' 3 chapters back.

So you judged that she is dumb from the fact that she followed old traditions that strength would give her an edge in attracting males?
I would say that is awkward in love at best.
Also since they are a hunter/gather state of living being strong is a good point in a leader.
hunter/gather from how the elves described their lives and how the mountain elves is the same as them but live in the mountains instead of the forest.

The novel and the manga never illustrated her qualities that she is dumb that is only your guess from a single chapter and her awkward attempt at socializing. Also the state of the world that the human heroes are starting their war they had no choice to migrate. They lived fine before the war since they as the later generations are alive.(Seeing as how they have old traditions to be passed down to).

@dopeboykx
"from what I saw she's a musclehead + she's stupid clearly can't take any decisions."
I was replying to this part, she has never arrived at the point to make a decision that would exhibit anything too noteworthy to judge that she can't take any decisions.
You see a lot of headstrong people in manga and they are mostly the "instinct" type who goes with what their gut tells them to do. They live in the mountains/forest and they don't really need much intelligence like in a human society, they just need to learn how to live there(hunt, trap, make clothes, food, etc).

"Well, whatever her being the Tribe might be why her people been eating rocks"
When did they eat rocks? With the war for land going on most of the prey and the mountains are slowly being encroached with human colonies(shown geographically in the novel) so they had to move.

The advisor just wants to shift responsibility because she is lazy.

Hakuren was in center part of that panel in the nightly service part, is this hinting her as being pregnant next?

@givemersspls
It says right there in the chapter (p5) that she's stupid, and has been since childhood.

A chief doesn't have to be the smartest, but they shouldn't be a complete moron either. Especially in a world as competitive as theirs. (They got chased out of their land, remember? So were the High Elves. And everyone is always concerned about armed conflicts, or possible armed conflicts.)

And really, traditional or not, she should at least understand her present circumstances (she'd lose any kind of physical confrontation, whether against the MC or some of his "top wives") and adapt.

@AlmondMagnum
She has never been shown as a complete moron. It was only said that she is stupid but that is from the point of view of the advisor. It was also said that she is a good leader.
The strenght thing is just her being awkward in love, i mean they are all girls who live in the mountains, that was basically her showing off her strongest trait. She is not competing but trying to appeal to him, in the circumstances of the top wives all are strong, crazy strong. She is tring to show she is strong too which is in line also with her tradition.

So the dark elves are not fucking the Mc? Tsk Tsk tsk

We got a problem ovah heah

First she goes "I thought giving the position of chief to yaa was better than giving it to me," then she says "yaa is stupid," and while being smart isn't 100% of the requirements needed to lead people, it's certainly a large part of it, so tell me: why the f**k is she the tribe chief?
