well the thing is, he really isn't married (or romantically involved) to any of the women he has impregnated, and he has stated multiple times that he is pretty reluctant on impregnating women to begin with. He just kinda accepts his role, but he doesn't really see any of the girls he bones as a marriage partner.
He still very much understands the concept of love and a lasting marriage.

I think the closest we see him falling in love with is with Ru in the very early chapters, but that kinda fell off once he has to be the village seed.

@TitanAnteus - Ambiguous is an incredible understatement. At the end of Chapter 9 I've always interpreted her surprise as her shock that he can give her so much blood and be ok; even going so far as to offer more. It's even built up through escalation each time she drinks that she's a bit shocked.
In no way were my first thoughts: "and then he raped her" -- what the hell kind of jump is that to make? The next time we see her a little time has gone by (as usual), and she seems happy about being proposed to, but his sex drive is far too intense for her, so she makes up silly nicknames because of it while expressing how she still likes it. They're silly pillow-talk names; that's the joke.
Jumping straight to "she was raped and liked it" is fucking bonkers, in my opinion. We can each keep our own version, though.

It's just that she became willing part-way through, and then his endless stamina made her realize she can't handle it all on her own.

The transition is him looking down at a naked girl in front of him who's backing away to saying something along the lines of, "what a great night."

But yeah, it's definitely ambiguous, and I personally hate rapist MCs myself, but can't really see the first time any differently. Maybe the author got shit for doing it that way, and went the opposite way in future chapters? I don't know. I never read the original Japanese and its comments.

I thought that those chapters were a little odd back then....I get Ru was a bit fucked up trying to mind control him and suck his blood without permission (at first) but rape is inexcusable. It doesn't matter if she liked it part way through. Would have made better writing if he was charmed, but only partially which led to that.
