Isekai Omotenashi Gohan - Vol. 4 Ch. 20.2 - The Taste of Japan and the Glimmering Town, The Night the Two Spent Together ②

I can't understand if Titania has sent the protagonist back home if it was because she had seen her in a low mood or if she wanted him to escort her to get her treats again. xD

I don't get it, although she has the view from her world... Ain't she stuck inside the house due to the barrier ? How can she go replenish stocks ?

@Doenyon From last chapter, her home connected to the original world through the veranda. The barrier to isekai is at her front door.
So she just need to jump over the fence to buy supplies lol.

So... She went through all that just so she can go grocery shopping? I feel like Titiana just wanted more snacks and alcohol and none of this was for anyone else's benefit.

while this is a way to combat the lack of ingredients i just can't like this "oh btw you can go back to your world for a time" bit the author is dropping. It completely removes the weight of the sisters' decisions on which world to stay in after the miasma is cleared. Choice is really simple, if you like this new world at all then just stay there and you can go back every once in a while (maybe every few years?) visit people, grab anything you want/need and head back.
And if it turns out that you can only do this every 100 years or something like that it just means the lack of ingredients is going to show back up again later on

@Kyujyu but in this chap, page 7 "it's a box encasing the entire house, it means you can't escape from above either" ..... ?

@Doenyon That means they can't return to isekai through any parts of the house and they are stuck in original world.
They can go anywhere in Japan for a couple of days then the barrier would disappear and they will return to isekai.
So its a cheap solution by the author so she can replenish her supplies.

@doenyon That is what it looks like from the perspective from the other world. I suspect if she were to go outside she would also see a box like barrier over the other side of the house.

@kyujyu @granitefish Ah ok, Didn't understand it like that, thanks.
Also... What forces her to even come back actually ?
Duty toward her sister ?
Cause if she can go back for groceries... She can also stay, with her lovely knight.

Does she have enough money to pay for a massive amount of groceries?

Actually, how does the situation look like from her world's perspective? Her house suddenly disappeared and reappeared after months? What happened to the utilities?

@Doenyon the love for her family? i mean, did you look how attached they are to each other? dont know what other reason do you need.
