Why do they keep calling average-size boobs "huge"?
Amazing that anime has this reputation in the west for having oversized boobs, yet within manga and anime itself, even mediocre breasts are considered large.

If I remember rightly, Kobolds were more rat-like back in 2nd edition AD&D and explicitly described as making dog-like noises, but became fully reptilian in 3rd edition.
Anime / manga often mix up kobolds and gnolls for some reason, though they're nothing alike in D&D.
That said, in the Fighting Fantasy gamebooks which date back to 1982, kobolds were like a brown-skinned subterranean variant of goblin with longer nose and ears, much like the way they're depicted in this series. So there is definitely precedent for kobolds essentially being like goblins.
To be completely strict about these things though, goblins and kobolds are both derivative of old house-fairy myths. Only difference being that "goblins" and "kobolds" are British and Germanic versions respectively of pretty much the same thing. So if one is being completely traditionalist, it is MORE correct to portray kobolds similarly to goblins than it is to make them any sort of rat-like / dog-like / lizard-like creature.
