Is it just me or was "arc magician" probably supposed to be "archmagician"? Like "archmage." Or maybe even straight up archmage. The arch- bit can be pronounced the same so I could see something ending up looking like it should be arc there in the translation process based on my limited knowledge of said process. It's also pronounced like arch as in the structure too depending on who you ask. One of those things like lich (lick vs litch) that people like to argue about.
