Usually because her first love was the MC. Thank goodness that didn't happen with Setsu's disciple

@phoenixir: No, "oppai loli" doesn't apply either. There's no indication that she was a child back then; remember that it has only been about 5 years since he was gone from this world, and AFAIR there's no indication that he spent more than a couple of years at most between his first arrival and him saving the world (what I believe is the typical in-universe time span of such stories). She was probably a teenager back then.

@MarqFJA87 I personally am against sniping because it wastes a lot of people's time, effort and sometimes money. But I'm also against groups hording series that they don't have plans of working on.
