The way she handled the guard reminded me of those typical situations where a girl acts all cutesy for freebies at a store that happens so frequently in manga. I think she’s just acting like herself, just putting on an act. The whole bread thing doesn’t surprise me much, I mean we don’t know how these skills are inputted in her mind, maybe the actually taste was imprinted in her head. Of course then that’ll go into the cost of it being far cheaper than she said, I guess we’ll see. Though I’m fairly certain she isn’t a returnee, or at least as far as I know it’s never mentioned in the novel.
