Even though I know logically it's only been a dozen chapters, the fact that those 12 took 2 years to be translated makes it feel like I've been wasting an eternity waiting for this story to actually start, even though they've recently started coming at a good pace. Not sure if I should hold out hope that this is only the start, or that the end is nigh, and my waiting is finally over.

With a really solid MC introduction and an appealing art style, a small part of me still believes that this series is destined for greatness, though that's probably desperation on my part.

I shall continue to follow this series to praise translators for their hard work and perseverance even when their job is bad.
But my main purpose here is to shit all over this series because it's the biggest piece of shit since reality tv. I've never seen so much crap in one spot. You know that YouTube channel 'drain addict'? Where the whole channel is just about one guy cleaning stormwater drainage and sewage pipes? Yeah. This series is such shit, it makes the sewage systems he cleans out look like a hospital surgery room.

Just going to throw this out there that while the manga may be feel rushed ( and it is for where it's at) I highly recommend reading the WN even the chapters where you need to use google translate. The story really isn't that bad, and is more grounded compared to other reincarnated slightly op MC stories.

Idk why did they killed his family with the dragon and not the home invasion gang because that would actually be more impactful, but well this "family is killed for no reason" trope is done slightly better than that other isekai (not gonna give title because it would be spoiler lol).
