So he is establishing a herb farm even though he can fabricate anything. Why the hell did the damn author give him such lame abilities if it had no bearing on the story? Replace the whole medicine god with the character telling his isekai secret to his father and all of this could have been worlds better than superhuman god powers.

You can't make the medicines he was making with herbs, though? It requires a level of infrastructure and knowledge of chemistry that doesn't exist if they haven't even figured out microscopes yet.

@Drinkfist They can be just some cheap medicinal herbs. Problem is, it is very possible many of the required herbs he needs dont grow there, are unknown, not cultivated due to lack of info on their usefulness, or straight up dont exist. His ability basically bypasses all these, and the herbs he extracts are more for show, to justify from where his medicine comes from to the rest of society.

Kind of ridiculous that pharmaceuticals would work better than magical substances from that world. Just apply the modern protocols to researching magical substances and you'd blow that crap out of the water.
