The source went for about two months without an update after chapter 15. Apparently some of that time went into assembling a volume, and perhaps some of the people involved then took a break. Since then there's just been one chapter issued, and it takes time and other resources to produce a scanlation.

It may be a stupid comment but the author might have just named the kids L (ERU => Eren) and R (ARU => Aren)
Also you can see most of the time Ellen on the left and Allen on the right

EGS got hit by a cyber attack that wiped their site. They had not been maintaining back-up files elsewhere, and have suffered an enormous loss of material.
