at 300 meters and 172cm tall person would be around 5dmm (5dmm is the equivilant to looking at somthing 5mm tall at 1 meter away) tall to your eyes you can still see them but you cant really identify a target ... the issue is the sights would look larger than the person thats why i hate their sights. they are so big like 1911 sights. At that distance you really have to guesstimate where the direct center of that thick ass front post is and since you have to raise the barrel to compensate for bullet drop you cant even see the bloody target!!

simo hayha the deadliest sniper ever made most of his kills at 150 meters using iron sights of a m28/30(finnish mosin) its not too far off to say he could hit and kill targets at 300 meters
