I find Moongyoung pretty unlikable so far. He just comes off as smug and uses his position to get what he wants. Eunjae is clearly uncomfortable. Ask up front rather than beat around the bush. Let’s see how he develops and how their dynamic changes but so far just really finding him annoying.

So he realised that she likes his friend cause of the cat incident but doesnt realise it was him that did it, so when he saves her from the situation of confessing to a guy who her friend is already going out with he accepts her confession then they do some fake relationship? I dont see why she would put up with that for so long to the point she thinks about it to this day, since it should be a long time thing to make her think about it even now, and she even changed her name which may not be directly related. I doubt he ever told her about the cat incident tbh

All in all they should both be upfront about it, shes been trying to hide her identity all this time which is a bit weird and he now knows who she is but wont say it cause it would make her feel even more uncomfortable. I feel as though he'll eventually say it in the next 2-3 chapters, wonder how she'll react. Maybe she actually grew to love him but he ended up leaving her cause he thought that she didnt love him cause the relationship was sort of forced and thats why she keeps thinking about it

I think when he said he confessed to him, he thought he was helping her, so they became something like friends (at least for him) but other people started to gossip about her and she couldn't stand it, maybe some bullying as well, without him noticing, and then she just moved out, so he never knew and she didn't know he didn't know.
At least that's what I think

@Zikakuto If she was being honest you'd have a point but tbf it's clear to him that she's been lying and deceiving him deliberately this whole time so there's no point asking her upfront logically. Now the flip side of this obviously is that he's having WAY too much fun needling/trying to worm it out of her though, but probably indicates he has no idea why she's trying to deliberately hide herself from him

@Ayajdbwmns The flashbacks have been incomplete but my impression was that he probably rejected her on the spot, not strung her along in a pretend relationship. Despite probably wanting to her her it's likely rumors or gossip followed her that he didn't know about and why she resents him so much for unintentionally embarrassing her anyway, Just a theory though based on what little we have, we got to see the rest first though.

I don't understand why he's being so stubborn about this. It doesn't really matter why she doesn't want to admit who she is, it only matters that she doesn't want to. The reason isn't any of his business. Even if he thinks it's strange he should just give up and get on with his life. Using his position in the company to force her to do stuff is despicable.

Terrible ML so far. She obviously doesn't want to re-hash the past, it's none of his business why she's hiding it, and @karavis is right; using his position in the company to coerce her is gross. ("Nice employee evaluation you have there, be a shame if anything happened to it." ) Then moving into the same neighbourhood as her too? That's some creepy stalkerish bs you can't just hand wave away with 'aaww but love'. Gonna be a hard sell to make me not hate him any further.

Here's hoping a second ML pops up soon, and absolutely destroys him.
