Although it's getting a lot of (arguably) undeserved hate from the readers here, mainly caused by what Mai_loves_icecream has said.

First of all, I wasn't trying to bash you or anything, really
I was talking about the ML from the "Liar" manga (linked above).
What I meant to say was:
the ML from liar fits the a-hole type I'm looking for. Unfortunately he's getting a lot of hate FOR THE REASON THAT Mai_loves_icecream HAS STATED, which is

I dont think I'd really like the ml if he was like that. I imagine everyone would ship her with the second ml rather that the a-hole ml.

Tl;dr what I meant was "he's hated for the reason you've stated," but now that I read my comment again, it can be mistaken as "he's hated cause of what you said" instead lmao please forgive me and my two brain cells

bro are y’all really trying to justify him blackmailing her?? even if the tasks that he’s making her do aren’t that bad he’s still MAKING her do it as opposed to her hanging out with him out of her own free will. also, her friendship with what seems to be her only friend is at stake. it may not be a big deal to some people, but a lot of high schoolers just desperately want to fit in and have friends. i think i remember her saying she “finally” has a friend now that she has jisoo. to lose your first and only friend in school after all the groups/cliques have been established could make school very lonely and miserable for someone. people could even shun her for trying to steal her friend’s boyfriend if the letter gets out and the circumstance is misunderstood.

i get he likes her, but this is just not cool all around

i don't really like this, he keeps making her do things that she doesn't want like ok its harmless but still. One or two times is okay maybe but this is like all the time. Just because he saved her from an embarrassing moment one time, does he get the right to rule her life. I hope that there would be a second lead because this main lead I am not having it.
