It Seems My Lady Is the Villainess with Only a Bad End, so I'm Thinking of Saving Her

@dezzot
Indeed. It's like reading a romance story through the eyes of an extra, and that guy is often the third wheel. In all honesty, Vincent isn't the focus of the story and receives little special attention. He is, as you say, a talking camera narrating the romantic life of the wild never-to-be-Villainess.

@skeletor51 Might explain why there hasn't been a new light novel volume release since March 2019 (author was asking people via her Syosetu account to buy the LN to see a continuation).

I had a feeling it would go this way and I was hoping it would go the other way where Vincent becomes her lover but in the world of aristocracy, that’s something that can’t happen without hardship, sigh....

In the novel The Butler and the Villainess
wont end up together

The Villainous Daughter’s Butler ~I Raised Her to Be Very Cute~

Better read this one is better
cuz the butler and the villainess will
end up together

Is this the same where the mc(kid) worked hard on being the villainess' personal butler and his damn good at it, ending up for the villainess being obsessed(yandere) for the mc?

so in this manga the "out of the ordinary" becomes the norm
makes me wonder what is the MC even doing, he just seem to unwillingly follow the storyline
