Itai no wa Iya nanode Bougyo-Ryoku ni Kyokufuri Shitai to Omoimasu - Vol. 3 Ch. 14

LOL, not a good sign when the people running the event are cheering on the monsters to win.

I feel kind of bad for Kasumi, getting bodied so hard by a lower level player. That being said, she seems rather weak, and I dunno if she'll fit in with Maple and Sally's op builds.

I actually feel bad for those devs, they have such overpowered players, they are feeling depressed. :D

Playing like maple seems like a pain, i mean basically it's like playing skyrim while not being able to run or quick travel, she needs a horse asap.

Shitty devs, maliciously wishing misfortune on a player, and at some times even going as far as implementing patches sniping her by making the part of the game she hates more prevalent (pain).

@feha Maple is literally an OP character they can't nerf anymore without redoing the game from scratch. Of course they would want the monsters to win at least once.

Maple needs a skill where any hit an ally takes goes to her, lol.
"Our armorless evasion tank got hit! -1 damage...huh?"

@HDMI1 it is one thing if the patches were just about balance, but in this case it is about using pain to discouraging her from continuing to play. Presumably ( I don't see how them perfectly hitting the part of the game that makes it or breaks it for this particular player (as opposed to reducing the viability of her build and gear) could have been a coincidence. This is almost at the level you could think it was orchestrated by the author of a story) because they somehow overheard her (when checking logs?) disliking pain.

ps: I am painting devs as antagonists just cause I can. I don't actually think the writing is that good enough that its worth considering them more than a tool author can use to scale down OPness when its gotten too high and tension became lacking, so attributing evilness to them is a moot idea :p

Development teams and server admin teams should always have that one sadist where the rest force them to tone it down while using them for the right situations. But when the entire team is on board, that is just asking for abuse of power over the players. Though I get having a player break your game, can be frustrating. It is in the end your fault for having a shitty play-testing phase where this kind of thing was not discovered. I mean, min-maxing is a common habit a good amount of players do. It is not some secret hidden strategy, that only one player thought of, that is so out of the norm that it is understandable why no one saw it earlier. I mean who's idea was it to make entire armor sets drop as rewards? I get first kill bonuses or solo kill bonuses, but entire OP sets?

@Riger
spoil for novel, read with caution
She basically get that skill, and other op skills, the devs team is crying a lot after this event too
