See, you choose to see it as something negative, when it is something positive. Itou showing emotion (anger) about what that piece of shit fox did was a good thing.
 
Were you honestly surprised given how Fox-dude's whole plan was stirring up their relationship? Like that's what he's been like since he's been introduced.
 
I am glad that she did explain what actually happened to them. Could've avoided most of that if that was the first thing she said, but still, it is getting Itou to recognize what his feelings mean and admit to stuff.

Also expecting the comment section of a manga to understand sex, romance or relationships is cute in a sort of naive "oh you" kind of way.
 
Huh, didn't expect to find such comments about this episode, I just enjoyed reading the new update.
 
@Deoxyribo9 Indeed. If anything the major character arc here is the fox. In a classic shoujo trope, the heroine's basic goodheartedness is disturbing the settled cynicism of the second string guy, ultimately reforming him. This one goes a little deeper than some--we have the backstory where his resentful cynicism was formed by supposedly goody-goody authorities treating him like shit because of the colour of his fur. Currently I'd say he's about half way in his journey to reform; he's feeling unsettled and not understanding his motivations. Notice the way he got upset and gave away his deception because she was being too nice to him "behind his back", not showing the kind of cynical motivations that would make him comfortable, and showing a genuine belief that someone could be in love with him. He can't hack it because he's losing confidence in his negative view of the world, which is a defence he's clinging to. Eventually he'll break and accept some vanilla into his life because of the healing influence of her and the girl who loves him.
 
What I'm mad about is this comment section right now. XD "The fox dude just wants too stir things up. Because he told us so." Really? What we've got here is a guy, who is telling this to himself. Truth is he just wants to fuck his friends gf. He might have gotten initially interested in her because she's a human in love with a yokai/his friend/an unsocial guy, but that's were that ended. Now he keeps blushing like a little girl, seeks her attention and the space around her as often as "Just want to mess with him." works for him as an excuse.

next time itou should put one of those disintegrating spells on inari's face and just erase him from existence bc dude is getting mad annoying
