This manga seems to be a twisted love-letter to hard rock/metal in general, and specifically the band Ghost... for some reason.
There's chapters named after songs and bands (The Kids Are(n't) Alright, Archenemy, Peace Sells but Who's Buying, If You Have Ghosts).
Astra's best friend is named Kyuss A(venged). Sevenfold.
Some of the spells, like the ones you listed are named after Ghost songs... and they even had that whole arc with an (un)death metal band that was definitely a Ghost ripoff.
Tl;Dr: The Mangaka is a HUGE western rock/metal nerd.

The house being destroyed has to be the most heart-wrenching death in any manga from the past decade. It's not even a character, but it had "character" with everything that happened in and around it. I almost wanted to cry because of that.
@MrMcNasty the author himself talked about that in some early chapter notes...
