It's Not Like I Don't Want To Love - Ch. 5.1 - Episode 05-1

Why does he want to be married? He hasn't indicated that he's lonely, or looking for companionship. He may be approaching middle age, but that's not a sufficient condition in and of itself. Is he seeking to rope someone in as a trophy simply to impress the people around him?

I quite of confused. The message in the end. who he talk about movie with ? the girl he mention in the begin ? but he said never talk to her

@General_Pattern You really ask that ? i think it clearly he deadly want that. You know, when you get used to it, in such a long time. lonely is nothing new, so like you don't scare of it. like ok, i cool with that. I fine with being alone but deep inside we all want someone.

@General_Pattern He's Japanese so he needs to follow usual paterns:
Get married->work yourself to death
or
Work yourself almost to death->Suicide forrest

"But I don't have the free time for that, not at my age."
Ouch. Too close, man.

This story seems to be jumping from character to character. What is the author's goal with this? Are we gonna come full circle at the end to the first characters or something?

@Walter_vi_Britannia Yeah, I hear you.

There's something in story writing called Character Development. But the constant switching of characters thins my interest and causes me to drop the story. I'm sure some folks think this angle on mental meandering is simply delightful. And I'm happy they can follow it. I suppose it resembles USA soap operas, so this can really scratch someone's itch.

Not my cup of hot beer, however.
