...big sad that this only had 3 chapter build up, and only during the preparation for the school festival. it...it just feels awfully rushed and dumb.

All of the "drama" in this series isn't intended to be drawn out because this isn't a series where the point is to drag the reader along. Drama like this or Meguro's sister exists as a small obstacle to reinforce the strength of their relationship and show why the two are good for one another as well as further the idea about peoples' impressions of them being incorrect. I think the people who bring up how fast drama comes and goes are too used to badly written soap operas, harems and love triangles and want to apply that storytelling logic to a series that isn't about any of that.

Seriously though, liking the fast pace of the story so far. Mrs. Ballsy incel over here would probably get rejected next chapter, Koga will show his big dick energy for all of us to see, and Meguro will end up being even more in love with ChadKoga.
