I seriously dont get Eusto. Like he acts like he has this undying loyaly, but in any feudal society what kinda nigga just decides to kill their ruler bc they arent doing something that they feel is right? Im just gonna blame the novel for having a dumb plot at this point lol.

Just think about it for a second, how can you pledge undying loyalty but then not be loyal forever, regardless of what the ruler does. Thats what true loyalty is, its not something that can be swayed just because you dont like what your ruler is doing. Ugh thats been getting on my nerves the whole time
