I remembered the game app "tasokare hotel" wherein the visitors are ghosts who can't remember who they were and how they died. It takes time to remember so the ghosts there can choose to be a visitor or one of the staff hotel. If they remember, they can now go to afterlife. I also remember the kdrama "Hotel de luna".
