Wait if it was demons who killed his mother I don't think he should hate humans. Sure those creatures once where human, but they became beasts and animals long ago loosing their humanity. If anything he should hate the guards and others who let the demons get away from them in the first place, and maybe even demons in general....
But interesting backstory nonetheless.
