@calmbreez Man... how do i say this... Yes, and No, the romance does progress in fact love is the reason the MC fights, and the romance is pretty much concluded from the start, but depending on who you favor you may be a little disappointed.
But i guarantee you it would be more just because you like a character too much.
And more than anything dont focus on the "romance" in the usual sense, and it isnt the focus of the story too, i think romance is up there because of the MC objective and because of what love means in the story.
I guarantee you this too... this isnt a romance manga, it is the new breed of shounen that has been appearing recently, it is borderline seinen so you dont need to be afraid of encountering the kind of romance troupes you see out there.
It was ok I guess, not really liked how the big boss from the ninjas was handled at the end, that and the happy go merry for all the main cast (especially the brothers). At least, the wife was real lol
Somewhat disappointed that there was nothing deeper revealed about the Ninja boss and why he set Gabimaru up with his daughter. Wonder if the author decided to cut that portion of the story out in order to shorten its length, even tho was already so heavily implied he was quite powerful and would be the last major enemy. But other than that, happy ending!
