Not a bad plan. In the end, Yuriko is the only one in the mystery club who loves mysteries. Toiri is there because he loves Yuriko. Yotsuna is there because Toiri is there. Iris is there because Yuriko is there. So, targeting only Yuriko with a mystery was both sufficient and perfect.
