It's okay for a story not to just be wish fulfillment where the guy wins the girl because people feel like if a loser can get the girl than they can too and live vicariously through them. Sometimes a more todwn to earth story (sorta) is fine too where the person doesn't win their love but things still turn out okay. You so rarely see that in manga that it's kinda refreshing when it happens.

I mean, the MC's situation is kinda weird to begin with. How did his life reach the point where he was all by himself and he had to resort to creeply commentate on other people's lifes? He seems to have 0 social or even human skills. Does he stay like that at his house too? Doesn't he have like sort of a hobbie or some game he plays while bored? He could just waste time studying or some shit. C'mon author, you should've developed him better. Now I'm all confused with how he's still even alive and since the manga got canceled I'll never know.
