Jfc you seem personally offended by this manga. One loser MC doesn't get the girl and you freak the fuck out.

So used to seeing worthless otaku MCs with no charm or redeeming qualities still end up with harems that he can't even handle the idea of a girl seeing a dude as merely a friend. This, ladies and gentlemen, is what we like to call an "incel".

You know when someome teased you about liking someome you don't then you become too self conscious about that person then you mistook it fpr being inlove. Remember that video scene where izumi said that shinohara and ichinose suits each other then the pool scene where shinohara said that she can't help but feel the same when she heard izumi said it. Also the scene where izumi said she looks the happiest when she's with ichinose.

I was hoping that what happens is; shinohara will confess to ichinose then ichinose will dump her then he will say shit like "I'm surprised i though you like izumi. I mean you look the happiest when you're with him." (then flashback scene to those previous chapter when izumi does something then shinohara blushes or when she smiles in izumi) and the scene where izumi said he thinks she's inlove with ichinose because she lools happy when she's woth him.) then she will realize that she misunderstood her feelings because of izumi's narration on that video then blah blah happy end. But fuck it I prefer Izumi x Nao (like in onani master kurosawa. The boy got ntrd but still became a happy end.)

It’s clear that Nao was the only true path...after combing down all the vile in the comment section, I imagine the ending is an even worst case of the author not even being allowed a final chapter to tie things up.
I was hoping Ogura would be a relatable ally...but I guess he’s just a spiteful incel.
