Jimi de Medatanai Watashi wa, Kyou de Owari ni shimasu. - Ch. 1.3

What a quick chapter. So if she's previously a cosplayer, will her cafe be cosplay themed?

Thanks for the chapter.

Well, at least the first full chapter is done and now the plot/characters is more or less established. Shitty grandfather, shitty fiance, shitty heroine and of course, our MC plus prince.

A bit of a nothing part but the good news is that the actual story can start.

Prince is easy to fool, the “heroine” is a scammer and the MC is not just from another world, as most of the isekai stories make clear to state to us...

ehhhhhhhhhh okay I will read for a few chapters, let's see if there is anything good about it.

So she had a backup in the works when every thing went to shit? But I don't remember this being an otome game type? Or was she just sick of that house and wanted to a place for solace? Makes sense but I hope they explain more on how she came to be an Innkeeper because that is cool as heck

I can see that the mangaka decided to just breeze through the usual "not-really-villainess gets exiled" part in order to get to the innkeeping part 😄

That was a quick and simple segue, pretty generic but its nice to simply skip the whole pretense of the world being some otome game or at least skipping the entire "I was reincarnated" section we always see where the dead meet god or they regain their memories one day and then we see a time skip.

Hopefully we see more of this inn and the world developing.

@ValKnight It wasn't really a back-up plan, but moreover a place where she could express herself as she were, without her grandfather punishing her for it.

The fact that she was a cosplayer and just in general fan of cosmetics, and suddenly she's thrown into a world where she can't wear flashy dresses or use cosmetics because "they would be a disgrase of her womanhood". Of course she would search for a second life, a life where he doesn't have to listen to the old man's bullshit.

(Though it's interesting how she acquired that live. Does the crown prince's fiancèe really have that much free time and lack of surveillance? It's a villainess fantasy isekai though, so i guess that can be overlooked)

My god. So much fuss about her "failures" and none of them even noticed her sneaking out to work as an innkeeper on weekends? All of them are a disgrace. A double disgrace.

quick guess that her grandpa actually knew and thinks that this is best for her anyway

@ArisenDresden the manga is skipping a lot of stuff from the novel. I guess they figured this would be short lived series, so they might as well get through it as fast as possible.

I know that it's kinda rushed a bit and all, but those last two panels are so funny that I just can't stop laughing.

It's like those close-up reaction images with the mouth being really close to the eyes
