@microwavey Nah i'm pretty sure Evan and the First Prince are two different peeps

From what I understood Evan is her childhood friend with who she thought she was getting married as a kid, then when she got engaged to the Second Prince they stayed close friends until da fake Saintess arrived.
My theory is that the First Prince met the MC when she was in town and recognized her as a noble even though she was in disguised, remember how he used her second name ? And that it is precisely the name she use when pretending to be a commoner ? Tbh it seems weird to go to that extent (i really don't get why he would dye his hair since i guess many peoples saw him before, or maybe it happened when he was really smoll...) but i think he dyed is hair so that the MC won't recognize him (dunno why tho). But again, this doesn't really makes sense cuz if u're close with someone u can recognized him with dyed hair... And he was searching her in monasteries and under the name Elizabeth so yeah...

In the 1st chapter- When she looked relieved after facing Evan, I thought he was a friend! Then he started misbehaving, I was like- wasn’t he supposed to be a friend? I had to read it multiple times to get it.
And in this chapter,when she looks back at it, it soo hurts! I mean, I’m reminded of Julius Caesar and Brutus! “Et tu, Evan?”
Stabbed in the back by a friend, when you least expect it! Part of a conspiracy against her!
