Worldly desires are mostly gone, but Sansui himself still capable to fill love I think.
Anyway if they have lost all feeling and emotion the Sage would reach a nirvana state teach similarly in Buddhism, in which the Sage said will unite with nature itself and become an existence that is similar to God. Or at least that was the goal of all Sage which Suiboku tell to Sansui, Suiboku himself not that interested though as he seeks to be the strongest.

he did, hes only doing this cause his master told him to just raise the girl for the next 50 years or so, and he only accepted this because the duke house will help him raise the girl in exchange for services.

Pretty much the only reason he married her is because he was asked to.

Honestly I was expecting Sansui to keep his master a secret or something. Kinda odd that literally the entire population knows there's a guy who's even stronger than him out there, and obviously a lot of people will go out looking for him. If I was a hermit sage I'd be really annoyed.
