Jinrou Game: Crazy Fox - Vol. 3 Ch. 17 - Distant Daybreak (Trigger Warning. Sexual Violence)

While I wasn’t expecting a flashback chapter, I did expect something to go horribly bad when Ayaka mentioned her dad staying home on rainy nights.

Thanks for your patience! Although I’ve finished the assignment, my mid-semester exams are coming up next. I plan on finishing the last chapter of volume 3 asap so I can revise for a while. Next upload on the weekend, excited to see how volume 3 ends!!

I feel really bad for Ayaka... She didn't deserve this

BTW @SiKOi I think you should add trigger warning at beginning of the chapter just in case for everyone.

The sexual abuse flashback was going to happen sometime during the manga, and I was just readying myself for it.

@Sylveonia I went ahead and tagged "Gore" and "Sexual Violence" for this manga. I wouldn't say there's a need to add a trigger warning for this chapter - it's a courtesy to some, but a spoiler to others. The "Sexual Violence" tag is more than enough and is doing what it's there for. Though frankly, I can understand why someone would want a trigger warning, considering that the girl was abused when she was a primary schooler.

Her mom must have known what that piece of shit was doing to Ayaka.

Thanks for the trigger warning inside of the chapter title.
Especially for a series where a trigger warning might not be warranted overall, this makes a difference for people.

👌

Thanks for the warning. This chapter made me sick to my stomach. When she says she wants her papa to come home near the end of the chapter, is she referring to her biological dad or step dad?

ok please please PLEASE show us that fucking "father" death in the most painful agonizing way possible

tbh i wouldnt mind seeing a crossover where that fucker is in a room with yuno, lets see what happens then

Ok, I'm pretty sure that her first Father looks like the guy she's now in love

Tying up tachibana is probably what causes the last werewolf to act and kill someone

@Zhou Yeah, In a previous chapter it shows Ayaka's mother in the background watching TV, as the step dad assaults Ayaka.

Yeesh. I gotta say, I'm usually more in the camp of trigger warnings being spoilers, spoilers with good intent, but still spoilers. But yeah that scene was pretty graphic and a touch out of left field so I can roll with the minor spoiler.

It's interesting how the story hits a pause button to include this section of backstory and then continues like nothing happened.
