@Psychronia It was either that or not bothering to explain at all how the harem could exist in the first place. Like the prince said, it would be simply impossible. However, if magic was involved, it would be possible, even if the foundation was so ugly. But then again, I dislike harems in manga in general, so maybe I'm just biased with my opinions.

Cecil is completely different from how he is in the game. He seemed to be into the heroine for impure reasons, he never found interest in the feelings of others like he does now at this point in the story.
