@nobodygattaknow , you know that reaction when someone you known do something so embarassing that you pretend to not knowing them to save your dignity, this is the equivelend, the "heroine" action is way way too embarassingly stupid that Pii decide he can't take that shit anymore, but he's a contracted spirit so he can't run away or pretend not knowing her, thus lead to his conclusion "Ah, I would rather die than continue like this." and he commit the suicide dive. The smile is the "Yep, you are on your own and not my problem any more, stupid hoe. I'm FREEEEEEEEEEE, madafaka" smile while the last attack is just a cover up so nobody suspect he's doing a suicide dive out of embarassment.

Because they're not doing this together. Uxtef gave out non-HQ because he wants to encourage readers to buy the author's manga. Admirers of Bertia simply take Uxtef's translation and slap them on the HQ version. Since it is Uxtef's translation, they also put Uxtef in the credits, but they're not working together.
