If Bertia's mother had died from illness. Her father would become evil, and she would become spoiled and eventually a villainess
Such and such of the original events would play out until he eventually no longer loves Bertia and instead loves the heroine

This is all the light spirit trying to make him no longer love Bertia, making him more like a doll and trying to lead him to love the heroine. In a last-ditch effort

its just crazy to me how the author really brought the same quirk the prince had to their son and he let him monopolize (not as bad as it sounds?? hes just a siscon lol) his newborn little sister because it redirected the son's attention away from bertia. Yes, the father-son were fighting for a bit over bertia and it was cute for a hot second but then you start thinking how weird it is for their son to be obsessed over his family member/s and it poof. Still, it's a cute story!! the ending was just a bit shocking for me

hmm think on the last page the crying kid is the light spirit. Hah, light is normally good in stories but in this story, they went with light have menacing abilities.
