which basically means to sweat/ break a sweat/ work hard / wash off one's sweat
when i translated this i thought it was the former, but now that i consider it, it might be the latter because he washes their backs at the end, meaning washing off sweat.
edit: changed it a bit, but not direct tl, just something that hints to it i guess
